The Post Graduate Certificate Programme in Investment Banking (PGCPIB) is designed to offer the knowledge required for professionals to handle the various aspects of Investment Banking including asset management, security valuation, stocks, bonds and other derivative instruments to meet specified investment goals for the benefit of the investors.

This programme will also enable participants to take informed and effective decisions in the areas of M & A, IPOs, Valuation, Bond Trading Portfolio Advisory Services etc., and provide them with hands-on knowledge and skills to become a successful Investment Banker.

Eligibility: Candidates with 3-year bachelor’s degree certificates from Universities recognised by the Association of Indian Universities with minimum 50% marks and at least two years of work experience.

The completed application forms should be accompanied by a Demand Draft (DD)/Banker’s Cheque (BC) drawn in favour of “Indian Institute of Management Indore”, payable at Indore for Rs. 2500/- (Rupees Two Thousand Five Hundred Only). An investment bank is a special type of financial institution that works primarily in high finance by helping companies to access the capital markets (stock market and bond market, for instance) to raise money for expansion or other needs. ·         Monitoring the goal attainment and performance of the invested assets on a regular basis and interacting with the clients on these and associated issues.

·         To carry out regular review and re-balancing of the portfolio.

·         To sort out all the financial issues of the clients whether they pertain to the financial goals, financial plan, investments, or any other financial issues being faced by him which may or may not be related to Company’s products/services.

·         Visiting clients at their premises or at a suitable place, if so required.

·         Conduct or help in conducting financial workshops, seminars, road-shows etc in a manner as desired by the company.

·         There is no sales related job assigned to a Financial Planner as on today. However, the candidate should be open to performing all job related tasks as required in the performance of his/her duty.
